Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching, born March 28, 1977, is an American actress , best well-known for her character in 24 and the voice acting that she performed for Tess in Naughty Dog's video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised there. She went to the high school of Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis, graduating in 1995. As a child, she was a competitive Irish dancer, and was a part of the St. Louis Celtic stepdancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which was her final degree in 1999. Wersching's acting debut was her appearance in Star Trek: Enterprise. Then, Wersching was invited to star on guest shows such as Charmed and Killer Instinct. From March 2007 through November 2007 she played playing the role of Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap series General Hospital. In addition, she's been in theaters like Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. She was also a series regular on Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching played catcher for the National League during the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends, Celebrity Softball Game and 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends. Wersching was also the voice in the role of Tess in The Last of Us on PlayStation 3. Geoff Keighley teased Wersching's character on Twitter prior to her appearance was revealed in the Spike Video Game Awards trailer that was shown on December 7 in 2012. Wersching was cast as the Borg queen in Star Trek the second season of Picard, which will premiere in September 2021.
