Michelle Lynn Monaghan Bio

Michelle Lynn Monaghan was born on March 23 on the 23rd of March, 1976. Her most prominent roles include Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005) and Gone Baby Gone (2008). Her other roles include Made of Honor (2008), for Gone Baby Gone (2008), Made of Honor (2008) and Trucker (2008). Source Code (2011), Pixels (2015) and Patriots Day (2016). Her role as Julia Meade, the main character in Mission: Imperfible's action-spy series Mission: Impossible (2006), Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol (2011), Mission: Impossible Fallout (2018) was recognized. Monaghan also starred in True Detective's debut season (2014) as Maggie Hart. She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award, Best Supporting Actress. In the drama The Path, a drama series The Path (2016), she was the lead as Sarah Lane. Monaghan was also a part of Eva Geller in the 2020 Netflix thriller series Messiah which was cancelled after a single season. Monaghan was the daughter of Sharon Hammel (a factory worker) in Winthrop. Bob and John are her two older brothers. Monaghan is mostly Irish and German roots, and was raised Catholic.She graduated from East Buchanan High School in 1994. Following graduation, Monaghan moved to Chicago to pursue a degree in journalism, and began modeling. She has modeled in Milan and Tokyo, Tokyo, Hong Kong as well as the United States. In 1999, she had one more semester to finish her degree in journalism. She then moved to New York to pursue an acting career. Before becoming an actor she worked as model and featured in many magazines and catalogs. Monaghan was recognized in two television roles as a support role in Young Americans' episodes in 2000. In "Consent" Monaghan was the role as Caroline Busse. She also appeared on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in the episode. On the 19th of January 2001, she appeared in "Consent". In the same year, her big-screen debut was in Perfume as Henrietta. Her next film, again as a supporting character in 2002, was Unfaithful with Richard Gere and Diane Lane.
